Diamond Steam Cleaning and Re-Finishing
Most diamonds lose their lustre and fire after time if worn frequently as they become dirty and the diamonds are not seen at their best. This can be overcome by a steam clean, we would then polish the metal as it oxidises over time and then put into an ultra sonic tank to remove any dirt and grime. A final clean, dry and then an inspection will finish this procedure. This is all done in our London workshops.
Redesigning Your Existing Jewellery
Have you inherited or own jewellery that you’ve had for a while and don’t wear as its old fashioned or made in the wrong metal? At CARR we can offer a free consultation to re-model or update your existing jewellery using your existing diamonds or precious stones.
A diamond upgrade service is also available should you want to part exchange your diamond for a larger one or different shape. With over 35 years of designing and manufacturing jewellery we are well placed to offer our advice and creative skills to make that special piece.
Quotation for Insurance & Annual Insurance Checks
If you do have an item of jewellery stolen or misplaced we can handle the whole process for you dealing with your insurance company and replacing the items. Even if it’s a lost stone or broken piece of jewellery that needs attention this can be dealt with by our after sales team.
We also offer a checking service that is compulsory requirement of your insurance company to insure the claws are of a quality that will secure the diamonds into the mounts. If this is not done on an annual basis you may find your claim is invalid should you need to make one
Jewellery Repairs
All kinds of jewellery repairs are taken on and free estimates are available. From ring sizing to replacing claws, replacing ring shanks, new mounts and polish and rhodium service for white gold jewellery.
Valuations
We offer a full valuation service for your diamonds and jewellery. We have experience to value jewellery from 1800’s to the current date offering sensible market rate valuations that are not over inflated. We will make sure that your jewellery is correctly valued and you are not paying an unnecessary high premium.
