RICHARD MILLE RM011 – 03 JEAN TODT LIMITED EDITION
In 2018 Richard Mille released 3 Limited Edition watches for Jean Todt, The RM11 03, RM56 and RM50.
Todt was one of the first prominent people to wear a Richard Mille and certainly helped grow the brand which has become one of the leading and most successful watch houses today. The Jean Todt collection was made to celebrate 50 years of Totd working in motorsports, achieving many things in his impressive career such as winning 14 F1 world titles with Ferrari .
The one that stand out the most for us is the RM011-03, the 03 is the latest and current RM11, the case is made of a unique blue TPT Quartz made with 600 layers of silica, each only 45 microns thick, are stacked and impregnated with a blue resin, before being heated to 120 °C. The result is an extremely light and resistant case, resembling in many ways the body of a high-performance race car.
Only 150 pieces of this watch were made, perfect for any Richard Mille collector or any motor sport fanatic.
