The Worlds Thinnest Perpetual Calendar

The Worlds Thinnest Perpetual Calendar

From Audemars Piguet the iconic Royal Oak, a stunning watch designed in 1972 by the master and most famous in watch design, Gerald Genta.
Fast forward 46 years to SIHH 2018, after the success of some superb perpetual calendar Royal Oaks including the Stainless Steel 26574 and the 25829 Open works to name a few.

Audemars Piguet decided to release a watch like no other, made of 950 Platinum and Titanium for an elegant look and a lighter feel on the wrist. The case measures 41mm and is only 6.3mm thick making it the thinnest perpetual calendar watch on the market.
The movement is a technological milestone measuring only 2.89mm thick, the dial displays a day, date and month subdials, a day and night indicator and the best and most detailed moonphase indicator on any watch in my opinion.

This impressive watch does not have to be adjusted until the year 2100, as long as the watch is kept on a winder it knows then a 31 day month is and even leap years.

The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 26586IP.OO.1240IP.01 is a boutique exclusive and is also currently the most sought after watch from Audemars Piguet.
