Offered for sales is this superb F serial original Mark 1 configuration Submariner Bertolli from 2004, having a few stand out details for this model.
The number 4 in the 40 mark on the green aluminium insert has a flat, squared-off top. Later series transitioned to a pointed 4. The green insert colour on the initial series has a slightly lighter, olive-toned hue compared to the deeper, richer green seen on later models, In the “ROLEX” text on the dial, the letter “O” is wider and distinctly oval-shaped. Later series shifted to a standard round “O”. And at the very bottom of the dial, the text “SWISS MADE” spans widely, stretching fully outside the 28 to 32-minute markers
